It’s also home to some of the best sport fishing around.

Explore the Great Outdoors

Bellamy Bridge Heritage Trail

Tucked just west of the Chipola River, the Bellamy Bridge Heritage Trail is one of Marianna’s local treasures. Built and maintained by locals, the trail offers a quiet, authentic walk where you can enjoy the natural beauty and sounds of the area. This peaceful half-mile hike winds through scenic North Florida woodlands and leads to one of the state’s oldest bridges. Built in 1914, the bridge is famous for its eerie ghost stories, mostly notably the “Ghost of Bellamy Bridge,” which describes the tale of a young woman in white who died close to the bridge in the 1800s and who some claim is still lingering there.

Florida Caverns State Park

Just minutes from the resort, Florida Caverns State Park is one of North Florida’s most unique and refreshing attractions. Step underground on a guided tour through ancient limestone caves—perfect for cooling off on a hot day while learning about the area’s natural history. Above ground, the park offers shaded hiking trails and quiet picnic spots, making it a great spot to unwind and enjoy the great outdoors.

Tallahassee Museum

Just an hour from Marianna, the Tallahassee Museum offers a perfect mix of outdoor adventure and local wildlife. Ideal for families and nature lovers, this open-air museum features shaded boardwalks, native animal exhibits, history exhibits, and a treetop adventure course with three levels for all ages. Whether you’re exploring the zoo, walking through lush Florida landscapes, or grabbing a bite at the on-site café, it’s a great way to spend a summer day with the little ones!
